Evangelistic - Ecumenical - Egalitarian
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
We use the word Evangelistic to describe our goal of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ to the people around us. This is the simple message of salvation, forgiveness, and hope in Jesus. This is the message of our church and our hope for all people.
2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
We use the word Ecumenical to describe the unity of all followers of Jesus Christ. It does not matter to us what Christian background a person has. We are brothers and sisters in Jesus. It does not matter what denomination a church is. We are in full fellowship and we are willing to work together for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
We use the word Egalitarian to describe our practice of both men and women serving in all leadership and ministry roles of our church family. We try to focus more on talents and gifts than on gender and background.
